Todos Santos is my favorite town in Baja and the Paradero Hotel is like no other. This getaway is all about relaxation, fine cuisine, exploring Baja, and hanging out with a great group of guys.
Day 1 An easy day. Check in, hangout by the pool and explore this amazing hotel. Then get to know everyone over cocktails and welcome dinner.
Day 2 starts off with yoga by the pool and then breakfast at the hotel restaurant. It’s menu is ever-changing to reflect the fresh produce picked from their garden and procured from the surrounding farms. Then we are off to the beach. Trust me, this will not be your typical beach set up. The Omakase Experience for dinner will be the perfect end to the day.
Day 3 will begin with the optional breakfast at the Gallo 64 site, breakfast will be prepared by Cocina de Campo, Agricole, I love this restaurant and organic market. Then we are off to wander the streets of beautiful historic Todos Santos for a taco tour. The day wraps up with a sunset hike through the hills along the coast and then dinner.
Day 4 is a free day to do whatever you like before you head back home. Your options are endless, surf, hike, ATV, shop, beach, lay by the pool, massages.
Dandy Traveler works with the top hotels and resorts in Baja Sur to secure discounted rates and pass them on to you. You get to experience our entire getaway package, and enjoy your stay at a sought-after resort for less than the normal rate.
BRUTALISM IS BACK
Here, this stunning property designed by Ruben Valdez and Yashar Yektajo, interprets brutalism in a way that may shock people who had thought they had made up their mind about the style. The brutalist hallmarks of raw concrete and dramatic, imposing shapes are present, but so is a warmth and a blending with its surroundings that is as surprising as it is alluring.
The experience of a property that can at once be so austere and inviting – nestled beautifully within a backdrop of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains and surrounding farms – will draw you in and have you examining the juxtaposition with wonder at every turn.

From San Jose del Cabo Airport
I came to San Jose del Cabo on vacation and fell in love with it. 4 months later, I was living here. The weather and beaches are what captivated me, but the people are what keeps me here.
This year I am pleased to announce Erik Borg will be hosting the getaway with me.
Let us show you Cabo through our eyes. Experience it like a local.
Erik is a co-owner of Provincetown Brewing Co. on Cape Cod. Originally from Minnesota, Erik developed a deep passion for travel and adventure from an early age. He studied in Spain during college and has traveled to five continents, soaking up the unique culture and cuisine wherever he goes.
